The importance of spiritual self-defense
for Indigo and Crystal Children
Many of the new world energy children arrive with their psychic abilities turned on.
When they are born into families that negate their telepathic and intuitive feelings, they sooner or later start to suppress their true selves because their caretakers do not take their experience and therefore them as persons seriously.
My parents did not totally negate, but neither validate the things I used to see as a child. Many nights went by, where I knocked on their bedroom door because of these "things" in my room. My sister could not see any of the things that looked like straight from a Harry Potter movie and neither could my parents. They eventually took me to our family doctor who did not really know what to do either. My parents were told that all kids have a fear of monsters and that I will grow out of it.
When a child perceives these things, it either needs sensitive counselling from the families chosen professionals of their faith or easiest is to introduce them to their Guardian Angel. Angels are non denominational and almost all major faiths make reference to them in their holy scriptures.
I managed to turn my psychic abilities off at the age of 12. It cost me my connection to source and the angelic kingdom and that is a heavy price to pay. To go through adolescence disconnected from whence we came from is freezing the soul.
When a psychic child does not get introduced to spiritual self defense and protection tools from an early age on, s(he) can develop childhood depression, disassociation with source, neuroses and is left vulnerable to negative forces and influences. This can manifest itself by the child taking illegal and/or legal drugs, (legal drugs like medication without prescriptions, upper's, downer's, prozac, ritalin or others), associating with the wrong peer group, worshipping of a cult, idolizing of a guru, crime or simply become the proverbial doormat by attracting the wrong partners in life.
You might negate everything that you cannot see and think this is all new age 'nonsense'; this does not make it go away though. To explain this in simple terms: Just because we cannot see shooting stars during day-time, does not mean that they are only there after night fall. It simply means that our eyes cannot see them because of the daylight. They enter our atmosphere nevertheless!
Remember, just because you can't validate it, does not mean your youngster is full of nonsense or has an overactive imagination.
When I see with what kind of negativity we allow our children to be bombarded with (have you gone into a sony play station department recently?... how did the music resonate with you?...) Or is your child an avoid follower of all the latest Harry Potter movies?
If we don't have the time and energy to fight the dark by creating opposition to all the stuff our children are exposed to, let's at least introduce them to their heavenly back-up team in the form of Angels, Source's messengers.

Carmen Martina Schnider-Kemp was born and raised in Switzerland. In 1993 she immigrated to South Africa to become Brand Manager for Omega watches and Montblanc writing instruments for this market. After a successful 3 years in this position, purpose called her to follow her passion and second vocation - training and facilitation. Since she has facilitated workshops on experiential team building, leadership, transformation and various skills workshops in the corporate world at levels from grassroots to Ceo's. She has designed and facilitated motivational courses for visual spatial learners at primary school and high school level containing modules of learn and study skills and mnemonics.
She is married, has a stepdaughter of 13 years, a daughter of 5 and lives with her family in Midrand, South Africa. To complement her practical counseling skills gained at life-line and over ten years facilitating in the corporate world she is busy with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, specializing in Education and early childhood development.
Having been born in 1967 with an energy labeled"Indigo" today, she experienced the trials and tribulations of growing up with this energy firsthand.
